I have a 97 banshee with stock carbs and can not get it to idle it goes great down the road but as soon as I take my thumb off the gas it stalls. I do not know witch way to turn the screws on top to make the idle go up some. Please help.

It sounds like your carb balancing tube(the 4" black rubber hose between the two carbs that connect them together) could be off on one side.
If this is not the case, and your Banshee is stock, the idle adjust screws are located on top of the carbs. You must take the seat of to access them. Just turn them clockwise in equal amounts, until the revs come up to where you want them.
If this does not fix it, your idle jets must be clogged (assuming the bike is stock). This is an easy fix so don't worry!
Good luck!
