Yes, and I'm not sure, it seemed to rev a little quicker. I like the sound with it out anyway.

my dealer heated up the edges of the SA with a torch until it was cherry red. Then pulled it out with a pair of plyers. From then on, it comes in and out really easy.

I was wondering if with the arrestor out if you have to do anything to the jets. does it back fire at all and is it safe for the engine.

Dont listen to the post, with the arrestor out you actually loose performance. Everyone thinks just cause the quad sounds better/louder it perduces more power when actually the quad sounds like a badly tuned piece of crapp. So leave it in and if you want performance buy an exhaust but becarefull you can actually loose performance where you want it and gain it elsewhere. For example look at the shootout in dirtwheels the stock raptor beat the Ct raptor in a short drag but the Ct raptor won in a long drag reason I believe is with a full exhaust you loose low end tourqe and gain mid/top end so for tourqe leave the stock headers and just go with a silencer for mid/top go with a full exhaust this is what I have learned from exp.
