07 Prowler nothing but problems
#1
We bought 07 prowler new have taken it out 3 times every time we go out it blows an axle seal, now an pinon seal leaking then transmission grinds when slowing down, and 3 broken shocks. Have taken to dealer, and heard shocks are on back order, unit has been in shop for 4 weeks off and on. Is Artic Cat using the public to buy and test their units at the public expense and frustration. This is not to bad mouth Artic Cat but to let the consumer be aware of the problems and no parts available only on back order. Very frustrating on the amount of money spend on the Cat.

Thats odd, your the first person ive heard of with so many problems. Its a shame it happens, but there are lemons in EVERY brand of ATVs, Cars,Boats,ect.........
I wouldnt let it discourage you from Arctic Cat, but i would ask for a completley new machine, and have them take that one back.

This could be a dealer issue. Are you sure the dealer has order the parts? Also are you sure it's a 07 and not a 06? Check with Alpha Sports - Arctic Cat ATV Catalog on line. I had a parts back order BS story from a dealer. I order the part had it in a few days. Dealer never had order the parts just putting me off because his shop was busy.

Three broken shocks? I don't see how that is even possible without severe abuse.

I suppose you watched the commercial, and used your Prowler as a wrecking ball?

There is no abuse on the cat, we bought this cat to play in the desert it has never jumped off cliffs or really riding hard teraine. Cat is having trouble with their retainer on the shocks. I've been told now by 2 different dealers. Also oil seals leaken, and transmission grinding is definently not abuse. Disappointed with the problems and excuses.

sounds like you tried pulling off a heal clicker with your poor lil prowler. i would deffinately consider looking into your states lemon law. the really bad thing is that you will probably be so upset with the product now you won't be back to cat but i have had superb luck with mine. i have heard of one person that bought one of the first 200 prowlers that had luck like that but every other person i talked to loves theirs.
