Hi all, i need to adjust the valves on my foreman and know that the clearance is .006 ". Is that set at TDC on both valves? Or what is the honda procedure for this. Thanks

 

Remove the valve cover so you can watch the valves while you turn the motor over. The exhaust will open first, and then before it completely closes the intake will start to open. After the intake closes watch for the timing marks on the flywheel. There will first be an 'F' and then a 'T'. Stop at the 'T' mark and that is TDC. Make sure there is slack in the valves and adjust both of them.
