Shocks for 150 atv's
#2
I know what you mean, the front suspension on these 150 quads are way too stiff. I added 3" wheel spacers to the front and rear of my quad, and with the extra length, it helps let the front shocks travel now. Made a world of difference.

Yes you have a point....I was trying to keep from getting too much mud on me...I have made some mud flaps from black plastic that the local race car shops keep in stock. looks OK also...
do you think it will add stress on the studs, bearings and hubs.... I have read some people thinks it a bad choice, but you sure hear alot of people with them.

My son's put that quad to the test with the spacers installed. The stability increase and the ride quality improved dramatically. We've taken it to some trails that are nothing but rocks, and we treated it the same way we do our "name brand" quads, with no problems to the studs or hubs. I did have a worn ball joint on the lower control arm, but it was like that before the spacers.

jetmotousa.com has a nice setup that might work for your quad - they sell Works ripoffs for a fraction of the cost, and work about 75% as well. i had their whole setup on a 110 and made it actually jumpable.
