KFX 700 RESET BELT LIGHT BUT

Default KFX 700 RESET BELT LIGHT BUT

Ok so i reset the belt light with the nyroc instructions and after doing it light still stays on ?any reason for this ,belt is fine and no power issues,light did flash and yet when i put eveything back still red .did i at least turn back hour meter .thanks

Default KFX 700 RESET BELT LIGHT BUT

The 04's had a recall on them. Call the dealer and tell them your vin. They will be able to tell you if your V is in the recall. You can't reset the belt light if it's in the recall.

ok I do remember some sort of recall ,question though other than the light staying on do i have to worry about any thing else like a limp mode or is that for just the brutes and praire, because I have felt no power loss as of yet. Thanks

No limp on the V so there is nothing to worry about. Just the stupid light staring you in the face.

Thanks for the help , I did call dealer and found the recall to be the igniter/cdi so iwill be getting a new one from them .

No problem.
That makes two of us. When I get a chance I will have to take mine in also.
