Default TRX 450R Pipe

I'm looking at buying a pipe for my '06 450R and have narrowed the choices down to a Curtis Sparks and a Rossier Engineering. Most of my riding is on trails and drag racing. I already have the HRC kit and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these two pipes and how they compare, in particular the Rossier since this one seems to be less common than the Sparks. Thanks in advance for any replies.

First off I would like to say nice 250r you got there...I would go with the sparks racing first over the rossier, but the pipe that I have heard is the best to buy is dasa so you may want to take a look at them first.

Thanks for the props and info. I have a 350 top end I'm about to put on my 250R and hopefully will be ready by the Spring time.

which one do you like better the 450r with the hrc kit or the 250 when it wasn't modded into a dragster.

It's hard to say which one I like better since I started setting my 250R up for drag racing soon after I bought it back in Late '98. The only riding I have done on it is drag racing on sand. However, for an all-around quad I definately like my 450 better since I bought it primarily for trail riding and it is definately a blast on the trails and will hold its own in an occasional drag race.

once I get my 450r paid off i'm hoping to put some goodies in my ds engine and get some performance for my 450r...it's frustrating not being able to be noisy, lol I gotta get me and exhaust soon

Ha, I did a frame up restoration of the quad back in 1999 and brought the original year model sticker to a sign company and they made me another one. I even got them to change the month/year to 3/99 since that's when I finished up the quad.

Kajun,
Help me understand....
What performance do you expect to get from a new pipe? Since you have the HRC Kit already?
I have the HRC Kit also and have been thinking about a new pipe, or new silencer...but I don't know what performance gain to expect and if it is worth it?
Will you be rejetting again?
Thanks for the help. Enjoy!

Morewood, I'm just looking for a pipe that will give me a little more power, especially in the top end of the power band for drag racing. A buddy of mine has an '06 450R with the HRC kit and we're pretty even so I'm looking for that little "edge" I've kinda put the 450 on the back-burner for now since I'm working on my 250R getting it ready for the Spring. I haven't ridden it in about 2 years and am itching to get back on it.
