Ok I am in the search for a new quad. I will do mostly fast trail riding with a little mud, as well as a few cross country races. I am 5'11 and 230lbs. Between the 700r, Z400, and YFZ what would be the best for the money. I realize the 400 is a tad bit underpowered compared to the others but I figured with the money I save I can hop it up a bit...I just wanted to see what you guys recomend.

Between those three, I would pick the YFZ. It is 50 pounds lighter than the other two, so it has a weight to power advantage. A little high strung for very tight trails.

The Z400 is a great all-around machine, but much less powerful than the other two. The Raptor has a very toquey engine, but I just don't like its ergonomics.
