Air Filter
#1
My brother just stopped at a dealer to get some air filter cleaner, the guy at the desk told him to use gasoline? Does that sound right to anyone? I checked google real quick and I only found more things saying NOT to use gasoline...
Anyone ever use gas to clean your air filter? I don't want him to screw anything up even though it is a Honda

use mineral spirits... or.. paint thinner
you'll know when it is clean(not sticky) rinse with water.. let dry atleast 12hours(24 prefered)
then coat with SX Filter oil
gasoline eats the foam filters... don't use it
