Default Interested in buying GIOVANNI 150cc

Hi im 14, 5ft 9in. and 140lbs. I have had the giovanni 50cc for a few months now. I don't mind it being small and think 50km/h is a good speed, but I want to do some trails that it might no be capable of. So I am thinking of buying the 150cc gio. Will it be big enough for me until im 17? Pls tell me all the pros and cons you know about this quad or about other quads i should get. I am willing to pay up to $1000 total. All advice is appreaciated!

My advise is buy a JetMoto if you plan to keep it a while.

its a non-issue quad, Honda motor simple design, and at 140 lbs it will drag you around with ease, You could go cheaper and do the 88cm honda kit for your 50 though, it will be a whole different machine when your done.

Tazmo, I noiticed you mentioned the 88cc bore.

I ordered an 88cc bore for our XR50 but then decided to try it in the Gio. It made it into a monster for kids and even a lot of fun for me (though the chassis/bushings are not made for adult weight).

Who in town has the equivalant of the new GIO 110cc big tire machines? I would like that to be my our next quad so we can use the ground clearance and torque to get us up to Cadomin/Mountain Park.

there are some Asun? type minis in spuce grove that are similar, a little bit lower to the ground though... I'd really take a long look at the whole set-up though, low HP (7)big tires, lots of heavy mud/ clay steep slopes just doesn't add up to a fun day. I'd really be concerned about ft/lb of torque at the rear wheels and the ability to do the job for long.
