Default PARAGON ADVENTURE PARK!!!!

Not sure if anyone here know about this yet, but the Paragone Adventure Park was shut down by court order so another company can build a Cargo Airport on the land. Imagine that, here you have a small family who is helping preserve the land and then you have a big corporation come in and mow down thousands of acres to put in an airport... I guess this falls under eminent domain.... I was at the park a few times and it has/had alot to offer...

You can visit here to read about it and help them out...

That is yet another outrage in my mind. When Connecticutt homeowners were given the boot and the US Supreme Court allowed a private businessman to take land by Eminent Domain they set a horrible precedence. Before this time, Eminent Domain was mostly for public domain projects that were needed in infrastructure, like highways, bridges, etc. We need one more conservative judge on the Supreme Court that feel about the US Constitution the way Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and John Roberts do. I hope all goes well for you folks down in PA. Slowly, things are getting better for us up here in New England. Mass. is opening up more State Parks to ATVs, New Hampshire is building an ATV park in Northern NH, Vermont has opened up miles and miles of trails.

Tree-huggers only care about the trees YOU want to use! They want to hug the property of others because hugging trees dont pay all that well, so they want the honest, hard-working peoples trees.

sad to say we dont have to worry not only about the ecos but big business an corporate america. This is just horsecrap, maybe we should all get together an take over the company that wants to build there airport, show the judge just how things are so out of kilter in this country. It just seems every 1 is getting shafted in this country on so many levels.I'm starting to wonder why no 1 from the top to the bottom isnt doing anything outta outrage about all of this.Sounds like this country will soon be done especially if the Socialist dems get into office in 2008.The sovreignity in this country is slowly been desolved an absolved of all justice. We have had several things here in nj private firm is using tax $$$$$$ to build on raritan river high $$$$$$ condos an Solsburg airport has come under attack from Town trying to take there land when they have no interest in giving land up.what are these people communists, faschists,?these are the same people that attack the mafia for strong arm tactics but do the same thing.its true money talks an bull crap walks wonders where it will stop an all end

You should really read the court order ... They (the park) doesn't own anything ... it's leased and the lease holder whats to lease it to an airport group!

People should be able to do what they want with their land ... if the land owner wants an airport, go luck ... if the ATV park wanted to stay they need to come up with more money for the land then the airport.

never rode it, but work down the street....

that sicks...I beleive that the property hugs the ridge that the airport can go on....great for area, sucks as for riders...

with all the monies PA collects annually now for registrations of our ATV, there needs to be some big time riding area developing going on....or at least something where public game lands and trails can allow some type of use...

very frustrating indeeed!

Tax$$$$ goes to building marinas for the very rich to park their toys. (which exhaust INTO the water) But they try to run us off if we are using a trail that crosses a creek since that causes silt to be stirred up.
