Snow Plow for BF750
#2
ProXJC,
Do you already have a winch on your BF or do you plan on a manual lift system? I just bought the Warn Cyclone 54" a few months ago for mine and I'm very happy with it. I really like the mounting bracket on the Warn plows. Just two pins and a hook through the winch rope and your ready to go. Also, the mounting bracket under the quad only hangs down about an inch below the skid plate. I looked at the Swisher's and the way they mount underneath the quad looks very combersome and looks like they really restrict your ground clearance. I think the Cycle Country plows are very similar to the Warn's. I wanted the tapered Cyclone (some call it a state plow) model and Warn makes a 54" and 60" in that model. The 54" works very well and you can manually adjust the angle in 6 different positions. I have some pics of it on photo page if you want to see how it looks.

I just picked up the warn cyclone. Seems to push snow well, a bit heavy for the front of machine though. I can't get it through 12 inches without getting stuck, to much weight in the front. If i had some better traction it could plow alot more. Maybe some chains or better tires. WOW $400 for this thing, and thats all their is to it!!

Fortunately for you you've been getting hit with snow on a pretty regular basis for a while. I haven't had the opportunity to try and move 12" at one time yet.....It is a heavier plow and the front end dips quite a bit when you lift it up. But the weight will keep the plow firmly on the ground instead of lifting up when pushing a lot. I also have my front shocks set on the stiffest setting for the plowing.
