I seem to be using alot of brake pads quickly; do you guys with rear disc brakes seem to go through pads quickly? I was thinking that maybe I am getting mud or grit under thepads?! and accelerating wear, but I hadn't ever really seen that happen before.....

 

I see from your photos it's a chinese mini, like a sunl, etc. The pads on my daughter's 70cc didn't last long - maybe 4 to 6 mos., IIRC. She rode it alot - a fair amount of water too. The second set has lasted longer but that's because she began using her sister's kazuma 110 and now her jetmoto 150. I was going to take the chinese pads to a motorcycle/atv shop and see if I could find their equivalent in a better quality pad but never got around to it. Also, when her's wore down, they fell out - not good!
