you know w/out thinking last fall i had the 450 running and was going to pull out the battery for winter and when i did it stalled right away. i forgot these bikes arent like the old cars where the alt. keeps the electrical going. it was fine when i put the batt. back in and restrted it. just thought i'ld pass on my brain cramp i had. yes i know w/out the batt that damage can happen.

 

if u run the tbs with out the bats will it do any thing to them???

 

So if your battery goes down hill on a trip....You will be stranded there!!!!!!.....I think (my view) there should be enough output from the charging system to run the quad .......At least the ones with the carb anyway(E.F.I will be a problem)...........Did anybody out there have Battery problems and could not use the quad afterwards? ...............Caper.........

 

wait guys, i said w/out a battery. if you have a dead battery it will run because the charging system has something to put juice into, where as no battery will (guessing) fry the charging system.

i was told that if u took an raped up the bat. termanils with electicel tape so that way they dont touch metal to metal that u could run them with out any probley as long as u keep alight
