Welcome back! Get modding that thing FAST lol. Pipe, filter, carb, intake port, gearing, 22 inch tires, ignition, and lightened.....then go stomp on some 450s. Hope you like the bike...in my opinion its one of the best built and strongest bikes out on the market.....good luck with it.

 

Will these things run the 450's stock?

 

You might want a pipe and filter but stock for stock they are a runner. Welcome back!

 

Dunes im not to sure....on flat roads they do.

 

The 450's would beat me off of the line, but i can caught them in the mid range. They would beat me more often than i would beat them. Close race's

 

where you stock?Because ive had the same results stock for stock with a 450er.Very close.He would shoot 4-5 bike links ahead then i would catch up 4-5 gears.But still most of the time to close to call.

 

I have no problems with the 450's and my DS650 is all stock,besides a pipe. But Welcome back to the forums...
