Default New 07 BF 650 SRA in the Gaurage

Havn't bought a new ride in 6 years, my local dealer who I bought it from ( I dont trust them) said for break in I can run up to 3/4 throttle for the first tank, & then wide open is fine after that, I thought it was 10 hours & 1/2 throttle?

2nd after the 10 hours I need to change the oil, change front & rear dif fluid & have the valves adjusted, I new about the oil changes but does the valves need adjusting also?

Everyone here will agree, break it in how you are going to ride it. Don't baby it. You'll end up with a slow machine. Only thing not to do in the first 10 hours is hold it wide open for more than a few seconds or so. Also, don't putt around at low rpms. You need to speed up to 40 or so and back down. I have broken in a few machines now and this seems to work the best.
As far as I have read on the net, the valve adjustment isn'y needed, but if the dealer gives you a good deal on the first service, why not do it.

Congrats on your new ride. The SRA's are fun.

Well that's exactly what I did, took it up & down through the RPM range, went wide open every now & then for a few seconds... Got 50 miles on her now, should I change the oil now or wait for 10 hours? This BF is sure gonna be fun, thanks for the help
