if anyone knows if the foreman 400 2002 model had a switched to shut the engine off if the oil got to low.
can anyone help me find what the minimum compression I can operate this machine safely and expect to get out and back.
I know it was damaged when the oil ran low, if ne of youknow someone on here I can PM or email that might help too

There is nothing that will shut off the engine if the oil is low except for when the piston seizes to the cylinder. It wouldn't be a bad feature, its on all of the generators they build. Compression should be around 80 psi. There is a built in decompressor to make starting easier which will make cranking compression lower than running compression.
