Default Favortite tire for snow

Looking for the best tire for MN conditions for snow and trail. Not into rock climbing or deep mud. I want a good all purpose tire that handles real well and is durable. Radials is the way I want to go. It will be going on a King Quad. Thanks

ITP Holeshot ATR radials! We actually do get snow in our mountains (like 50-100 feet sometimes!), so I speak from experience. Great ride everywhere else as well, but I wouldn't put them on the smaller machines.

Radials for a king quad that are good in the snow and trail... From what I've read Mudlite XTR and ITP Terracross both fit that bill...

my buddy replaced his 589's with Swamp lites... He says they work great in the snow... They don't dig in as fast as the 589's do... They also do great in the mud, and act more like radials than your typical mud tire...

They wear down quickly on pavement though... so stick to the trails with these tires...

Swamplites are excellent on snow, and every other terrain.

Top tire choice for MN in my opinion are

Outlaw MST's

Mud Lite XTR's

589's

Swamplites

MudLite XTRs, MudLites, or Swamp Foxs. Last two are bias-plys and cheaper.

Just regular old mudlites work really good in snow.

Friend of mine uses his ATVs (a grizzly and a polaris) in his plowing business and he swears by those holeshot ATR radials that reconranger was talking about. says they're the best snow tire out there. They're not a mud tire but they are great in the snow for some reason.
