Xplorer 300 4wd?

Xplorer 300 4wd?
Hey guys i did some plowin today and my 4wd works off and on when i am in High or Low I will just be drivin with it locked in and it will just shut off or somethin. But in reverse it works perfectly fine. Any Ideas?
