Default how much can i get for my quad?

well....i have a 2006 Honda Recon 250 2x4...

Snorkeled Air Box
Snorkeled Exhaust
Extended Breathers
Dieletric Grease on electrics
Heated Grips
Ammo Box on front (water, good storage)
Mile Marker 2500 lb. winch
22x11x9 Mudlites for rear
Painted all rims black
Tow Hitch put on
High Lifter 2" Lift

Condition-

Clean, changed oil on time, had it serviced in december (bought the atv brand new in August), plastics are scratced to sh**....new plastics are like $200+...not positive..

The quad, other than the plastics, is in good condition....i did crash it once, but i managed to bend the front rack back, but one of the plastics doesn't line up.....its all cosmetic problems....engine does run great

Bought it brand new for $4000....I was thinking about $3200 was reasonable considering all the mods done to it....(what would you pay for it?)

i see the mods, and 9x out of 10 it depriciates the value. especially snorkles, your pretty much saying you ride it very hard, and in deep water, those are not things that a purchaser will count as pluses. i ride my bike very hard, so im not biased, just know i would only buy new or off some old farmer or something like that. id be scared i might get one from some one like me!!lol.

Sounds like a fun machine although its unconventional to snorkel a recon. They are great machines and somone who loves the mud may want it as a second quad for their wife or kids. In the right market you may be surprised. Sounds like you love the mud. I miss my 300 bayou 2x4. Had more fun in the mud than with my 800 sp. With the sp its no challenge till it gets stuck and then its more like work than a chalenge.

well, i'm not going to take off the snorkel because the exhaust is welded on say that's stuck there...

how much of the value do you think it would increase if i put on BRAND NEW plastics without any sctraches....like, brand new from honda....how much money would it increase?

well, just give an estimate, how much do you think i can sell it for? with all the mods (forgot to say it has a-arm guards)...with the crappy plastics and then a different price with new plastics? maybe 2500?

i really need to find out some numbers...i looked and averagly, they're going for $2000-$2500 for like a 2005 in decent condition...

NADA says 2200-2900. I would think $2500.00. I dont think you would get anymore for it with new plastic. If the plastic costs 500 you wont get an extra 600-700,

New plastic including front and rear fenders and tank panels with all decals and warning lables would cost $295.00 from honda. I personally think it looks strange if their is new plastic on a machine and old scratched bumpers and racks. Thats not including seat cover and footrests either. So I sugest you scrub all the plastic and use plexis product to get that shine back.

I dont know exactly where you live and what drives the market and prices over there so I can only take a guess.
