I haven't found any 450 shocks cheaper than what a cheap set of Elka's go for. If I'm going to spend that much, I would get the Elka's. BUT, if you know where a good deal is on stock 450 shocks, please let me know.

 

To get 450r shocks on the ex is easy. Since the rezzy is mounted on the rear of the shock its in the way of the shock mount. You have to grinda little notch in the shock mount to give room for the rezzy. You have to put the ride hight low as it can go cause the shocks are a little longer eye to eye. If you dont you will sit taller than stock and wear the ball joints out fast.

Yfz450 shocks work to by just grinding the top of the shock skinnier. yfz shocks are better. I have them on my ex.

For the rear yfz450 shock wont fit its to long. The 450r rear will fit but it lowers the ride hight caise its shorter eye to eye.

So if your looking for a mx look get the 450r rear and yfz 450 fronts.

You know what happens when I try and buy something on e-bay? The price goes way up. The last set I bid on ended up selling for $450. (the cheap Elka's go for around $350+/-) I know, its me. Most other people could buy the same ones for a buck. Oh well. GOOD LUCK!!
