Default KFX700 Clutching

Ok, I have a question for all you Kawi gearheads. Last spring I purchased my KFX700 and wanted to ride it for one season just stock. After riding it for a season there is one area I'd like to change. Coming off of sleds for many, many years I'm familiar with how various springs and weights can be changed for different results. What I'm looking for is to increase the backshift on the clutch. When I let off the gas and go to get back on it, it doesn't have the "snap" that I'd like it to have. Bottom end and top end are fine, just need that stronger response on the backshift. Does anyone have any recommendations for this? What weights, springs and what brands work? Thanks for any input!

Check out Dalton Pro clutch kits. Do a google search for Dalton Pro. My buddy has a vforce with the weight kit, and lighter flywheel and different springs on the main and secondary clutches. I dont know much about the sleds so I dont know what its like to ride a newer one. But I bet you need to do a lot of upgrades to yer kawi clutch to get it to do what you want. I dont have any clutch mods on my vforce and i can beat modded clutch vforces but i got more engine mods.

Parafrog, a lighter clutch cover will help this slitghly but the main reason your not getting the backshift you want is the shaft it's take a few to catch back up.

I'm running a Dalton Pro clutch kit with a lighten billet clutch cover and a blue/orange spring.

Get the Dalton Clutch Kit with adjustable weights, Orange Blue spring, and then get the dalton overdrive cover. That will help do what you are wanting.
