No Airbox?

how do u set up the 400ex to not use an airbox, do u have to make some sort of thingy to hold the filter were it needs to be?

By a bracket from jlatv for about $30

Or you could just chop your air box off.

Ah well i can easly make one of those brackets myself thanks for the pic.

Yep. The filter dont get to muddy eithor.

No Airbox?

I have no airbox on my 450, will it help if i put a foam outershell from a whitebros filter over the prefilter on the k and n. Im just worried about dirt in the carb and engine.
