Default Bought a 2007 Honda 400ex

Hey there I am new to quad racing. I am wanting to get started, already got my helmet, chest protector, and goggles. I am looking to find out what all I need to get started, I know that I need nerf bars, and tether switch for the quad, and boots for protection. I am also lookin to get the quad in competition form, so the dealer told me to go with the pro circuit t-4 exhaust and dynajet kit. Anything else? I am also lookin to buy used stuff if it good deal, pm me if got any suggestions or parts

ok then , i would most deffinitly get different sprokets to have more low end then , put the pipe on it , air filter , jet kit , the holeshot tires , i would get different bars but thats just a preference on how you like the bars , maby a rev box , i can go on and on but thats all I can think of at the moment ! hope this helps

I have heard and read that suspension is necassary to be competitive with other racers. What does the rev box help have not heard of it? And what size of sprockets?
