I love my 800 xt max. I was wondering if anyone else is having the loud braking noise.
It just seems to happen every once in a while. It sounds & feels like the front brakes are griding. This is a new
outy with 20 hours on it. The dealer told me it had to do with the Brake rotors and how hard of material they were made
out of and they make the noise when they get Hot.

Any Suggestions.

 

I got the '07 650 XT last summer and had the same exact problem. The dealer told me the same thing, my noise went away after about 20 hours and three trips mudding. I know what you mean tho, sounds bad. I also had kinda loud lifter noise at first but that also went away after 10 hours & first service.
