I was just curious to see if anyone has had a stage two hot cam installed in their 450r. I have been told that after 60 hours I would need to change out my valves and springs. Is this true. A response would be muchly appreciated.

 

I have about 100 hours on a hotcam 2, in my 450. I just had it out 2 rides ago.The cam shows no signs of wear. I have checked the valves 2-3 times and they are always good.

 

Well thank you for your quick response! That makes me feel alot better. What other mods do you have done to your bike and what year is it?

 

i also have had no problems with my hot cam stage 3 or stage 2
