Default Powder coat

Hey guys,
Im about to get my frame powder coated and I had a question. What do you guys do with the identification tag that is on the frame? Should I peel it off and try to glue it back on after? If I just blast it off, will this cause me any problems when I take the bike places?
Thanks

The people that do the powdercoating can put on a new VIN # tag, i've had cops check my VIN before so its prob safe to have on there, lotta quads stolen in my area which is sad. What colors you goin with? I did the black and orange for the Baja style and its AWESOME!

The VIN # is also stamped on the top of the frame on the flat plate above rear shock area.

Yep and make sure you clean off the surfaces that meet with something such as the ground and foot brake,etc...Powdercoating is awesome and well worth the money, let me know how it turns out or you need any help...If your ground isn't hooked up or clean you will hear a buzzing like your battery is dead and if you continue to try starting the ds you will fry your cdi just to give ya heads up.

Now how many spots are there for the grounds? I only see the one above the chain roller, is there one in front also or just that one?

Yep just make sure everything is clean and make sure when you get the engine back in and good to almost run the quad make sure all wires and hoses are away from hot parts like the exhuast because you don't want them to be burning and once you have ridden the quad a little bit check you bolts and make sure everything is staying tight...Post some pics when you get done and if you need help let me know.
