Back from Can-am dealer today looking at Outlander. What is this promo that it ski's over log's and tree's.I got underneath of the machine and tapped on this frame part and it sound's hollow. Seem's like it is about the thickness of a heavy duty metal 2x4 stud. Not trying to start a fued, but Polaris is heavier and I have beat my 07 Sportsman hard. Zero problem's. I'll stick with Polaris. I don't have the need to go 80 MPH.

So why come onto the Can Am forum to tell us about it....maybe you should stick to your Polaris forum with the other Polaris owners and all write about how superior your Polaris machines are....

While all us Can Am riders pass you by on the trail.......

Oh, by the way, where you from in Maryland? I'm originally from there, upper Baltimore County...

I don't figure there is a lot of riding opportunities compared to way out west here....

I see that you did not dispute my claim's. As for passing me on the trail's, that's why I came to BRP forum because of the Outty's that ride with us. We tow more than they go. I am sure that you have more land to ride on out in AZ, but I wouldn't trade it for the 2,000 acre's of private property that we ride on. 4 season's of excellent trail riding, deer hunting, bear hunting, etc....... I'm sure you got me beat on the all around riding, wish you still lived here so you could ride with us. 2,000 acre's isn't squat to the left coast, we do have public riding area's that are mint also.

seems to be just another attack on the outty from someone who doesnt own one. i wouldnt trade mine for any sp they make. i have rode them both so im not speaking out of turn here. i used to do part time work at both dealers. by far the sp is more of a pain to keep up with. so what if you need to buy skids for an outty? the guys that trail sport bikes dont complain......

I would trade an outty for a sportsman anyday, IF I OWNED A 400 AND TRADED IT FOR AN SP800 It would be pointless for you to trade it in for an sp, cuz your outty 650 probably has approximately the same power to weight ratio as an sp800

Welll....I ride my Outlander 800 Max XT prettyr hard on rough, rocky, washed out trails in Az and have not broken anything and my frame is just fine. I ride with several other Can Am ATVs and they have hd no preblems either. My dealer has not seen any frame problems.

Click on this link to view a recent video of me riding this past weekend. It gives you an example of the trails I ride.

BRP Moment

By the way, the ONLY problem on this ride that included BRP ATVs, Polaris Rangers, Yamaha Rhinos, Kawasaki ATVs, and Polaris ATVs was from a Polaris 800!

While riding down a STEEP, loose hill the rear wheel engine breaking cut in an caused the quad's rear end to come around and the quad fliipped over. These Polaris quads are VERY dangerous to ride down steep hills.....

Ride what you want, while I ride the best ATV on the market.
