Tom Miller Motorsports engine work??
#1
Has anyone had any experience with TMM raing out of Tennensee? I spoke with them yesterday about modifying my 400EX motor and I think I will go with them. Just want to know if anyone has experience with them and if it was positive or not.
11:1 piston
full port, 3 angle valve job, new bronze quides
bigger cam (no decompressor on it)
lightened flywheel
advance timing 6 degrees
split the cases and fix my BROKEN SHIFTER FORK!
$1K
Does this sound O.K.? Are they good? I would tackle this myself, but since I will be racing XC, I want a professional job.
Thanks for any info.

I know of TMM but will not make a recommendation either way but they are an established company. I will give you some advice though since I race the GNCCs. If you plan to race XC then look for engine builders focus more on the XC type of racing. A MX motor is good for the MX track but may not be that great in the woods. TMM's main focus is MX so expect the work to be more MX focused.
