I was riding my scrambler today down the road about 30 miles an hour just cruising and all of a sudden it died it didn't spit or sputter it just went dead! I pulled the plug along the road and replaced it and my battery is dead so I have to pull start it because im to lazy to replace it but when I pull it over nothing every once in a while it will backfire BAD but wont start or run any ideas? Could the motor be blown? Still pull starts reallly hard so is that a sign there is good compression anything would help Im lost

 

I would start first with a new battery, if it's completely dead this could be the problem get a new battery then go from there ! williebee

 

Did you check for spark or fuel???
