We all know how that there is a short supply the Raptors in this country. There are some people in our local cycle trader trying to sell their Raptors (stock), with only a couple of hours use or less, for $8500-9000. Looks like these guys are trying to make a quick buck. Thats $2000 abouve MSRP!!

:O

A guess this is economics class at its best, you know supply (low) demand (high)?

I will continue to wait, this spring the supply should be better. I hope nobody pays these guys what they are asking!

Ohio seems to have the supply aspect in check. One place is offering them for $5999, $6800 OTD. Another place here always has two on the floor, $6880 OTD.

If that is true they will be a recall. they will fix them all not just newer ones. Maybe for nexy model year.
This is just another person starting rumors!! Yamaha has only had a few problems turned into them about the A-Arms, so they are not woried about them.
It is people like him that start post saying they have problems.
You can call these people "LOSERS"

Hey Chris,

You have to admit that perception becomes reality usually in this gig. Remember the carb boots blowing off mine, (recent thread), well, they've been replaced recently already, and they too talked to a Yami Rep, but obviously didn't get the same info from their's as did the 5 guys that told me the cure, as per dealers in their area. Guess we'll just have to see, until then, givemhell! Later.

Regarding the production hold for improved A-arms, have you ever considered that your dealer is BULLSH*TING you because they don't have a raptor currently in stock but don't want you thinking you can run to another dealer and get one?

Hey 3TV, you might want to call around a bit if you are really serious about getting a Raptor you might be able to get one sooner than March. I just got mine from Layton Cycle up here a few hours north of you. I am going out to Little Sahara/Jericho this Sat. to give it a run in the dunes, can't wait to see how it does the suspension on these things is amazing. Most people on thier waiting list were waiting for the White/Black version and were willing to wait for that color.

Hey ATV Girl, your right we should all go out and buy ourselves a Lakota for some "real power". I'm sure it will blow my "craptor" (Gawd that was original) away.
