Default Note about the Polaris RZR

Received this note from a friend about the Polaris RZR.

"I went to St.George, Utah today and they were having an ATV show. I went hoping to see the new Polaris Razor. They did not have it becausea guy rolled it over and broke his Arm in the roll over and now the Attorneys want a full net to cover each side of the Passenger compartment, before they will let the pubic see it or ride in it. I talked to a Polaris Dealer guy and he said he got to ride in it before the other guy broke his arm. He said it is a real blast and fast and powerful to drive. He said every one wants one."

I was just at my dealer, and he sold one in cash already, and its not even due in till the end of May or first of June. Its a very small dealership and he is telling me that many places he has talked to, are talking about jacking up the prices while demand is high. He told me of a couple of dealers that plan to sell them for as much as 12 to 13 thousand to start with. They usually sell right at or just below MSRP. Although I could have walked out with last years base model Ranger, brand new, for 7999.00. I might go back and jump on that one.

What a rip-off,jacking up the price before the damn things hit the show floor. They can keep the thing and let the tires dry rot before I pay 13.

Attorneys... I'm picturing a full roll cage on every atv that is sold, mandatory run flat tires, headlight pod with front driver air bag, backpack air bag must be worn for all 2-up machines so passenger is protected from a face into vertabrae collision, shock absorbing bumpers that stick out 12" front and rear, mandatory windshield for those 50mph june bug breaking the teeth type accidents, and a computer driven speed limiter for any off camber situations... I wish they would stop protecting me from myself! Maybe I'll start a new thread...
