Default Would you buy Arctic Cat again?

Looking at the 500 Arctic Cat and it looks like a pretty well built machine. There are a few things I like about it more than my Polaris Sportsmans, but generally just wanted to ask you folks if you think the AC500 is a good machine and if you own one, would you buy it again. Thanks for any help.

i had 2 500 arctic cats in the past and both were great machines. i am selling my 650 well it is already sold and well i am either getting a 700 efi cat or an arctic cat prowler. unless there quality goes downhill which i don't see happening then i will look into something else, but the cat gives me everything that i want high ground clearance power 2 inch receiver can haul and pull alot. diff lock. what more could you want out of a ute.

I have a 2000 AC 500 so I can't say much about the new ones. I will say it has been a faithfull friend in some of the most treacherous country. Would I buy a new one? You bet! Do I need a new one? Not yet!

I'll second both replies! 3500 miles and still runs like new. im also lookin to buy the 700 this year. but if they came out with the 500efi i would buy that instead.

oh yeah, this is also my second cat. i had a 99 300 4x4 with 3,000 miles (at the time) that i sold and is also still running till this day.

I have a 06 500 auto and it is a fine atv. I have only had it about 5 weeks but it has good power and a very smooth ride. The only thing that I disliked about the bike was the stock tires. The 06 models came with Carlisle badlands radial XTR tires that didn't work well for me. I replaced them with dirt devel II tires and it made a big difference. I think the 07's come with goodyear radials on them maybe they will work better. Yes, I would buy AC again.

Yamaha 350 moto 4(sold it)
1998 Honda foreman 400(sold it)
2005 Kawi 360 4x4 (sold it)

The dealer test rode it, and heard it a couple times. He said he isnt really sure without taking it apart. He told me to ride it a while, then bring it back to him. He said if it is something, he will get it covered under warranty for me. So im happy knowing it will be covered, whatever it may be.
