Default Gas gauge 06 650

Anyone ever have a problem with a 650 H1 where as the gas gauge will vary 1/2 tank from start up to 5 minutes of just idling. Once it reads full (and it is topped off) flip the head light on and lose an 1/8 of a tank. Going to put battery charger on it. Got 800 miles on it it, hate to think alternator going.
Thanks in advance

I have an 07 500 (purchase in July 06)and my guage is a piece of junk as well. Stopped working after about 3 weeks. Haven't heard of any permanent fix as of yet and just plan on taking it in under warranty. I have a friend who had a similar problem and I think it is very common with A/C owners and its about time Arctic Cat did something about it.
