has any1 clocked a ltr yet i am goin to pick on up this weekend and i wanna know what im in for i already have a 01 ds 650 with sum mods and its fast to to big and heavy to ride like i want if any1 knows please reply

might need a cherry bomb to hit that, i dunno, im just going by what i've heard

 

I wouldnt base buying a bike on top speed. A ltr450 is mainly bottom end acceleartion which makes riding a lot more fun IMO. If you want something with more top speed than your 650, dont count on a ltr450 to pass it on top end

 

ur full of sh** the ltr doesnt start makin good power till about half throttle

 

i don't really care i will mod it to make it faster i juss want an ideal b4 i buy it cuz noone around here has one for me to test out i want sumtin lighter so i can have more fun the DS is juss too big for what kind of ridein im into

 

All 450's now are made for bottom end rather than top speed. I know this because I have owned an ltr450 and a yfz450.

 

i got a yfz and my best friend has an ltr which i ride all the time

 

i was debating on an ltr or a yfz, and decided that the only benefit to a yfz is reverse. im more than happy with my decision to get the LTR.

ah, my bad. I thought one of the 450's did and i knew the trx and ltr didnt. I would NEVER get a raptor though...
