wood's 450 cam?

Default wood's 450 cam?

is anyone using them are they any good ?where do do they help low to mid or mid to high rpms?

very high rpm cam. only one guy i know of that made them work. i would try plan B[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

They take some serious work on the head/valve train to get them to work.

They are not just a "drop in" cam.

well it is a hole head and cams and valves it d the head is is ported and palish and shaved it is on e bay it is all ready to go just wanted to know if it will work and if it is worth $400?

If they have a decent set of cams in the head, yes its worth the money.

i think i found out what those cam are i think they are woods 7 cams so with that what are they good for

From what I have heard and read through research, the woods 7 cams are much more aggressive on your valve train.

Ive heard of guys having crank problems because of those cams. I know they're not just a drop in cam. You would want somebody to set the motor up to work with those cams, and even then its iffy IMO.

If the head makes good numbers, it alone is worth $400.00 but you can hurt performance with a ported head thats had to much material taken out or taken out in the wrong places.
