The Honda 90 is the only kids quad I really like and can recommend without reservation. It always wins the kids quad magazine shootouts. Ours is something like 10 years old now, and my kids rode this thing everywhere I could go, even on a 4X4. I'm keeping it around for my guests kids to ride, and maybe grandchildern someday.
These things will run forever with just a little routine maintenance. They have good resale value, so consider that compared to the other cheaper brands when you are making your decision. It is however on the large side as kids quads go, so you would have to have them sit on it and decide if it is to large or not. But, keep in mid that kids grow...they don't shrink.
My friends who have bought any of the new hoard of "off brand" kids quads....have absolutely lived to regret it!

If a Honda 90 is to small, then any of the other kid's quads are going to be way way to small!
With my daughter, I took her from the LT80 to the LT160. She wasn't on the 160 for very long at all, before she went on to the 250EX/Recon, and then the 300EX. My point is that it can be kind of a waste of money to get an "intermediate" machine like the 125, because they tend to outgrow these real quick. With my son (after learning that lesson with my daughter), I just kept him on the 90 until it was just getting ridiculously small, then graduated him right on to the 250EX.
