I am thinking of getting a big gun pipe with silencer for my raptor and the pro design filter kit(if available?) How does everyone like their big guns? Obnoxiously loud? Is the Yoshimura out yet? The dmc alien is plain ugly.I am on the sparks waiting list but very tired of waiting...

 

Ya I was on the CT waiting list. I'm very happy with the BG. I only the the atv out once since I put the silencer on but it definately had power increase. I wouldn't say the sound was super loud it's comparable to no silencer at all. The finish is great.

 

Big Gun is AWESOME. SOund is very lound though. I like it that way but some may say it is too loud. Really sounds mean.

 

I had a big gun system on my 400ex, and I flat out loved it. It looked sweet, sounded awesome and yielded a great increase in power. BUT it was too close to the plastic air intake, and burned a hole in it. Just make sure you keep the pipe away from any and all plastic.

 

I talked to Big Gun yesterday and they have improved the full system already since its first release. Now the head pipe is coated inside as well as outside. Before they were coated only on the outside. And now they new style oval-polished silencer comes as standard equipment with they optioal quiet packing (quiet kit is additional $$)
