Default Yerf Dog Kart part issue

I ran across a Yerf Dog gokart with Tecumseh 6.5 hp engine. I got it for a steal because the kids have totally screwed up the springs and he could not find any replacements. Now I can not find any replacements... Anyone have any ideas? My local little repair shops said they might could jerry rig something up but I would spend at least 50 bucks and they would not guarantee anything.

If I am going to spend 50 bucks I may as well just find a place and order some. I have it jerry rigged now but it stinks to be riding it and then the springs get funky and it decides it doesnt want to run.
