ok, first, I know this has been asked to death, and yes I searched around alot.

I can buy my boss's honda 400 ex, BB/stroker 460, hot cams stage 2 cam, P&P head, fmf powerbomb and powercore, it is running the stock carb right now so im sure its not making the power it could. also got +2 arms, durablue 2+2 axle, sand tire combo, dirt tire combo, and flat track tire combo, anti-sway, works dual rate short shocks for flat track.

anyways i have found for 1-1.5k less a few 250R's with a bunch of stuff like a arms and axle, nerfs, sand tire's etc.
not quite as much accessories but they have the esr 330 kit or the 310 kit, Ive always liked the way 2 stroke power comes on, and was just wondering if I bought the 460 and put the YFZ's FCR carb on it, what would it take to make the 250R hang with it. and Im not worried about on the track, I probably wont race either one either way next year. mainly concerned with on the sand, seems to be the only 2 places id ride, the flat track or the sand. and im moving to AZ so theres plenty of sand nearby.

last thing is Ive wanted a 450r since 03 when I heard of the o4, never ridden one though? hows that stock compared to either of the above bikes? I might get to ride one this may so Ill soon know if they are as good as im hoping.

 

those are bikes of the past, the 450r is the way to go if your gonna stay with honda.
make sure you ge the hrc kit though. its night and day in mine
