built up 2002 scrammy

Default built up 2002 scrammy

could a built 2002 (2stroke) scrambler take on a honda 450r

If you build it enough, it should out-drag one... but no matter what you do to the Scrammy, it has no chance against the 450R on an MX track (assuming both riders are of equal skill).
If Polaris would've made a version of these bikes with a manual gearbox, and no 4x4, keeping the weight under 450lbs, it would be a beast! The weight is what kills these bikes... I love mine for trail riding, theres no where I can't go, and there's no other 4x4 out there that can keep up with me (unless it's another Scrammy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ) But these bikes aren't made for racing, the 450R is.

They make a 2x4 though, and if i was told correclty there is a big weight diffrence between the 2x4 and 4x4, but i do think with some motor work nd a clutch kit and exhaust that it would be a close race

i have beatin 450r's w/ my old motor which was no port dg pipe weisco and orange spring...i'd hate to see what i could do to one now w/ my race mod
