Since most of the posts here are associated with a problem or complaint (not all, but most), here's a little sunshine.

This past weekend my wife, my 5YO son, and I took our ATV's out for the first lengthy rides of the season. We've been going on little jaunts over the winter just to test the snow, but these were more normal rides lasting a couple of hours (more than enough for a 5YO). The first ride doubled as a warm-up so I could change the oil in all three machines, and the second doubled as a test run after they were finished.

Folks, if you don't believe in natural beauty you haven't seen my son's face when he's riding his ATV. That smile could light up a stadium. It had rained overnight and at first he followed my example of avoiding the puddles, but by midway he was hitting them square on with the biggest grin you've ever seen. His machine, his clothes, his helmet - everything was mud-spattered and he couldn't have been happier.

It was a delightful two days. Such days do occur, and the best ones are with family.

Work hard, play harder!
