raptor 660 mods

Default raptor 660 mods

i have a stock 660r and want to make it a lil faster and dont have much money...is there anything i can do to it to make it faster...does takeing out the baffle help and putting holed in the air box lid...i heard this helps but want to make sure before i do it...the only thing i have done is a k&n air filter...so anything free and cheap would be appreciated....thanks

things you can do...
change your sprokets
remove your airbox lid and rejet

the most noticable thing you can do is to get a aftermarket slip on muffler.i don`t recommend taking the baffle out of a stock muffler.it can be done but it is a real pain in the ***.they aren`t meant to be taken apart.just save up 300 bones and get a slip on.you won`t regret it.

I'm not sure how the raptor is set up, but for my KFX it took only 3 bolts to remove my baffle. Now it sounds great and did give it a little more juice. If you have a K&N Filter, I would suggest getting an outerware cover for it and completely remove the airbox lid. After you remove the lid, you probably have to re-jet. Those are the best two "free" mods you can do.
