this will be a very interesting side-x-side. I had a ranger, then sold it for a rhino. I love the rhino and for a the sport sided of things is twice the rig. If I were on a farm, the ranger would be the king. Not sure if the polaris will ever get the aftermarket support that the yamy gets, thus the rzr might still be an odd duck in the sporting market.
Really suprised that Supersonic would put money down. I would think he would simply throw a busa in a ranger! What gives Super????
Yea, this thing sounds pretty great on paper. We'll see what the real world has to say. Not sure I need anything smaller than I already have, but we'll see how she performs, lasts, and competes.
Keep us in the loop about your parent's purchase. DuneMe, do you still have that Busa Rail?

I put money down on the second batch in July. The first batch is limited to two per dealership and all local shops were sold. I have researched the Rzr and it looks to be all they say. I read somewhere that ten drivers had six rzr's in glamis for a weekend and put 1500 miles total on the machines with not one problem. That says alot to me.

The initial reviews are good. I like the specs, especially the EFI. Power to weight, and suspension all excellent. They say its 100 lbs lighter than any other UTV. $10,000! OMG!!!

yea, mines been ordered for over a month. will be here in may or june at dealer +10%. (my buddy is general manager of a local polaris dealership)Bigdaddy, there is something to be said for just going in and throwing some money down and driving away with a vehicle that is ready to go. a few years ago I would have been out cutting up the rhino but now I just want quiet, comfortable and reliable as this kind of vehicle is mainly just a comfy cruiser to run around in once you are all worn out from the quad anyway. I have a blue special edition 06 rhino now that has about 500 miles on it but it will be going on the market this week. we love the rhino but it just doesnt have quite enough poop to get to the top of sand mountain NV and that is very frusterating. it did however go right up olds hill. anyway if anyone is looking for a nice rhino let me know!

What is the story on the Polaris 760 V-twin going in the RZR? How does it stack up to the Bomb 800?
I have never been much of a Polaris fan, but from the reviews I have read so far it looks like they may have gotten this one right.
