I have a 450er and i put a bill balance pipe on my bike. But the pipe didnt come with anything to cover the pipe from burn your leg or pants is there anything i can jimmy rig so i can put on it so that doesnt happen?

 

Maybe exhaust tape....Like the stuff used on hot rods

 

Yea you can put that on it or will the stock heat sheile fit over the head pipe or is the new header to big...You prob won't burn your leg on it though even though you think you might my ds's header is close to my legs and have yet to burn my leg(knock on wood)

 

if its makin your leg too hot, try some aluminum foil (cheap header wrap)
