i met a guy over the weekend who may be willing to trade his running, 250r for my 416ex with mods. what do you guys think, and what would i need to chek on before making the trade,, compression, leaks, etc?

 

why is he so willing to give up a 250R? the thing is YOU know what your 416 has been through and the conditon of it and how it has been maintained.....do YOU know what that 250R has been through for him to just want to trade? I wouldnt trade a my 250R for a 400ex.

honestly i dnt, i just met him and we started riding and yea. i dnt think he just wants to, but i believe he may consider it. plus his younger son wants a new bike. he rode my and loved it so i dont know i may be able to talk him into it. also he said he has a 250r motor and frame. basically a project. i would like to invest in it but i am working with no money. so yea. but as far as a 250r goes. is it a fast bike compared to mine? it seems like they are extremely fast from what i hear., but every1 talks alot about thier bikes. However i watched him try to run me and a few 450s, and he spun like crazy and was not terribly far behind. it seemed as if he would smoke us with traction? thanks for advice
