Having a simple and inexpensive hour meter makes it so much easier to maintain any machine properly, I don't think there is any excuse for the new manual shift 4x4 not to have one stock from the factory. I personally don't need the rest of the digital instrumentation that comes with the electric shift model, but I at least must have an hour meter. Fortunately it's easy enough to add one. One of the next things I will be doing is installing a Superwinch ATV3000 unit, and I will post photos and comments in one of the existing discussions on winches.
