Default 99 Foreman 450S brakes?

My Foreman has a tendency for the rear brake to stick. (The front brakes have been converted to disc) 2 questions: 1. Does this mean I need new shoes? and 2. If I do, where is the best place on the net to get them? Nearest Honda dealer is 60 miles away and I'd rather order and do the job myself if at all possibel.
Thanks,
Dano

Are you saying that the lever at the drum is not returning when you let off the brake? If so and your spring is ok, it might be that the drum is worn or the shoes are worn too far. I had that problem and if you pull the brake drum off and apply the brake you will see what is happening. Look at what moves the shoes apart when applying the brake.

The lever (s) at the hub work fine. Releasing the left hand or the foot brake and they release too; just like they are suppose to. After I finish cleaning up some storm damage, I'll pull the hub and check. Glad it has disks up front. they work from the Right hand grip and are real smooth, no squeals or anything. Can't say that about the rear brake.
Thanks for the tip.
Dano
