Hey guys I have a 2002 Honda Rubicon 500 4x4 when I hit the gas it doesn't move at all the engine revs up, and acts like it wants to move, however nothing happens. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this problem or ATVs and could give me some idea on where to start?

 

Does your display show it being in drive or reverse?

Have you tried esp? d2? Or the low setting

follow your shift linkage down to the motor and be sure it is actually moving with the gear shift.

Is your display flashing any codes?

Look up "reset procedure" in the search of this forum and try it also.

Prior to this problem your having what were you doing or how were you riding.???

were there symptoms or was it a deal where everything was fine and then bam the next day it was broke?
