Default Traiblazer Filters

While I'm at it, I thought I might as well replace the filters on my TB. The air filter is a mess. What should i get for a new one? Are K&Ns all they are cracked up to be? I doubt it. I would love to get more power of course, but it really doesn't matter. Also, I have an inline fuel filter. It seems to be pretty clean, but might as well replace it. Is this just something I can pick up at AutoZone? It looks liek a standard filter. Any thing to watch out for with the 2 stroke motors? I heard paper might be bad for them. I would think that would be for the non oil injected ones.

I (myself) only get stock paper air filters..............Don't worry about increase power with an air filter......................Worry about it protecting the motor!!!!!.....You would never notice any increase anyway!!!..Caper.......

yeah dont worry too much about a k&n filter or anything. what i would do is go to rockymountainatv.com or denniskirk.com and order one of the foam filters. dont worry about brand theyr pretty much the same. u can clean these much easier, they cost less than a replacement stock one and filter better with about the same flow if not better. liek they said u will never really notice a difference in power. you can pick probably up an inline fuel filter on there too
fuel filter
air filter make sure you buy some foam filter oil and cleaner. (I like the pj1 stuff, but i guess its all the same)

I'm a K&N fan. Haven't had any problems yet. proper maintenance is the key. On my drag 250, I'm running a 35mm tmx with the stock airbox. I need airflow, so I cut out the lid to match the inner diameter of the K&N. To each his own guess. Doc

I figured that a k&N was just a money pit. Just like on cars how you will see a 349% horsepower gain lol. Thanks guys.
